OUR TEAM

Hannah Kimber

Founder & CEO

I began working in the jewellery trade at just 15, and it didn’t take long for it to become part of who I am.  Even as a child, I had a natural eye for jewellery and detail - something that was nurtured through a deeply personal connection to sentiment and legacy. One of my earliest memories is being allowed to play with my grandmother’s engagement ring.  It was hugely sentimental to me, and that experience shaped how I view jewellery today.  I instinctively understand the emotional weight behind remodelling and bespoke pieces - jewellery isn’t just about design or manufacture, it’s about people, stories, and meaning. I went on to study jewellery design, winning multiple university awards for design progression and innovation.  Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked across every corner of the industry: from bench apprenticeships and small independent workshops to large-scale manufacturing firms and designing for a global jewellery manufacturer to the trade.  Manufacturing is my jam - and quality, precision, and pushing standards to the next level is where I thrive. I’ve run my own company for over 11 years, so I know first-hand the challenges jewellers face when outsourcing manufacture - feeling like a small fish in a very big pond, battling long lead times, inconsistent quality, or a lack of communication.  That’s a feeling we are determined to eliminate.  Our goal is to make jewellers feel supported, valued, and confident at every stage of the process. I’m incredibly proud to run a female-led company in what has traditionally been a male-dominated industry - an industry where I’ve faced my fair share of discrimination.  Those experiences have only strengthened my resolve to do things differently, better, and more collaboratively. Based in the Cotswolds, I share life with my dog Margot and a constant stream of ideas for improving how jewellery is made. Now feels like the right moment to bring everything I’ve learned together and take jewellery manufacturing to the next level with Natalia.  We’re true yin and yang - balancing precision and creativity, structure and intuition - allowing us to cater to a wide range of styles, briefs, and demands. Experience is something I have in abundance, and I’m genuinely excited to start this next chapter with Sartoro & Smycke - building something that supports jewellers, raises standards, and redefines what trade manufacturing can be.

Nathalia Guarascio

Founder & CEO

I’m Nathalia Guarascio, though most people in the community know me as Nat. I’m a highly experienced jewellery designer with a strong focus on bridal and bespoke luxury designs. I have over eighteen years of experience in jewellery manufacturing. I began my career in Birmingham, England, and later worked with Hamlingtons in Warwick before moving to the United States. Throughout my journey, I’ve always felt a deep desire to give back to the community. That passion led me to teach art at Museo de las Americas, working with Title I schools to help inspire young creatives. For nearly a decade, I served as the lead designer at Hyde Park (now 1916) in Colorado. My experience and commitment to fostering a healthy, supportive jewellery community have allowed me to build strong, lasting relationships with both clients and peers. As part of launching my own design company, I proudly volunteer as a Board Member and Treasurer for Women of Jewellery in Denver, Colorado. I’m also a co-host of a new podcast alongside award-winning writer Linda Kozloff-Turn. In addition, I work part-time at Arapahoe Community College, collaborating with the Jewellery Design program as a CAD instructor. Every new challenge I overcome becomes an opportunity to grow, share, and build alongside my community. I’m always looking forward to refining and streamlining the experience of creating truly unique, meaningful pieces.
